Yohany Corona-Batalona

Yohany Corona-Batalona

About Yohany Corona-Batalona:

Yohany Corona-Batalona is a native San Diegan, proud to have been raised on both sides of the border. Coming from an immigrant Mexican family with only an elementary education and a low socioeconomic background is what pushed her to pursue higher education. Yohany is passionate about helping others achieve their life goals and witnessing how education transforms lives, as it did for her. Yohany is a graduate of San Diego State University, achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish and earning her from the Community-Based Block Program (CBB). When not counseling students, Yohany loves spending time with her multi-generational family, enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather and scenery with her husband and most importantly being a mom to a 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son.
